Approved hours become Exact Online invoices

From your workday to Exact Online, without retyping.

You connect by signing in to Exact Online and choosing a division. Half5 then imports your contacts and ledger accounts. No API key is passed around your team.

   Grant access and choose the division Half5 works with.

   Approve the week

   A manager approves or rejects each person's submitted hours. Managers see registered hours only, never anyone's timeline.

   Draft in Exact Online

   The draft invoice appears in Exact Online. You finalize and send it there.

What the Exact Online integration takes care of.

From an hours report you create draft invoices: one per customer, containing only billable hours that haven't been invoiced yet. If your organisation uses approval, only approved hours qualify. You finalize and send the invoice in Exact Online.

• Sign in, no shared keys

  You grant Half5 access through Exact Online's own sign-in and can revoke it there.

• Draft invoices

  Choose one line per entry or one combined line, and whether description, activity, project and employee are shown.

• Contacts and ledger accounts

  Your team books hours on the contacts from Exact Online, and invoice lines use its ledger accounts.

• Hours are never billed twice

  Hours on an invoice are locked to it. Delete a draft and you choose whether its hours become billable again.
